One of our hidden agendas is to discuss religious concepts in the context of reality and to get people to think and to wonder about the future. We ask, "What will the future be like?" We want people to think about the future and wonder about it. We want people to wonder what kind of world that their descendents will grow up in and what challenges they will have to face. We want people to wonder about what technologies they will have. When will we cure Cancer? Or will we destroy human life and give the planet to the cockroaches?
Thinking about the future makes people more realistic.
Wondering about the future is what we call the Holy Question and it makes us appreciate how important it is to make good choices. Our Principle of Personal Responsibility reminds us that our choices count and that if we want to have a future that is better than today then we need to make the right choices and take reality into account in everything we do. It's a trick as you can see because it creates different thinking habits. Thinking about the future in the context of reality reprograms the mind and undermines the bullshit. We think it's a good thing and if your religion believes in reality, we think that thinking about the future is good for you too.
