Well - the KFRC deal fell through. They insisted on altering my ad
requiring that I put a disclaimer in it that "This is a paid
commercial". Something that I wasn't willing to do. So - they said I'll
be getting my money back on it and that's a good thing. So - I did have
some spots professionally produced by my old radio guy David Lewis from
back in the old days when I had a computer retail store in Springfield
Missouri.

So - if any of you have any $$$ and you want to download these ads and put them on your local radio station - let me know. That would be a great way to spread the word. Also - feel free to post these on your web sites.
If I get more revenue than it costs me then I will take the extra money and expand the radio campaign. If I get less than what it costs me then the ads go away. Most of the money that we are starting with is money I've put in myself. And - this church isn't going anywhere until I get other people on board. But - I think I have a good plan and I'm hoping it will work.
Besides staying on the air - doing these radio spots is a media launch. I'm hoping that it will leverage me into the news media - get me on talk shows - and tweak the Christians just enough to get them talking about the Church of Reality. I believe that just to get the name out there - that there is a Church of Reality - and that it is a religion based on believing in what's real - and it causes people to ask the Sacred Question - "What is Real?" - that this will make a profound change in the world. And I'm hoping that you will see this and contribute to the cause.
As you know the Christian Right - that seems to be taking over Christianity - thinks they own America and that they are going to prepare the world for the second coming and the destruction of the planet. I know this is (hopefully) an exaggeration - but this is a country that has turned it's back on reality. We are having a very twisted version of "morality" laid on us and they are screwing with the culture in some very unhealthy ways.

I believe it is time to challenge these other religions head on and compete for the religious mind space. and what better religion than believing in reality itself. After all - you don't get any more real than that. I want to work reality into the religious dialog and help other religions evolve in a more positive direction. I'm not out to eliminate fiction based religions. But I do want to keep them from becoming dangerous and hurting themselves and others - including me.
If you haven't fully explored this web site you should do so now. I want you to fully understand what the church of Reality is all about and decide if you want to support the cause. Right now the mission is to get the word out and every time you talk about reality - you are sending the Sacred Message. We are one people sharing this planet.
