A Bug Zapper is a person who leads people to the Path of Illusion, into the Cult Mind, causing them to Live the Lie. The metaphor is that a bug zapper is a device for killing insects. Insects are attracted to the light, but when they land they are instantly fried by electricity. A Bug Zapper is a person who uses light like a Lighthouse does but to the peril of the person attracted. Other religions use the term "False Prophet" to mean the same thing.
